Bowsher Elected Board Vice Chair of Birmingham Education Foundation

Adams and Reese Partner David Bowsher was elected Vice Chair of the Board of the Directors of the Birmingham Education Foundation. The mission of the Birmingham Education Foundation is to bring the voice of the community to Birmingham City Schools’ leadership; to listen to and work alongside educators, students, and families; and to ensure equitable access to educational opportunities for all students in the Greater Birmingham Community.

Bowsher serves as the Partner in Charge of the Adams and Reese Birmingham office. His practice focuses principally on corporate and transactional matters, including those involving troubled companies, and on bankruptcy and corporate restructuring issues, and also governmental relations matters. He is ranked among Alabama Super Lawyers in Business/Corporate, Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights, Governmental Relations.

A member of the “Top 40 Under 40” by the Birmingham Business Journal, Bowsher is a graduate of both Leadership Birmingham, Class of 2013, and Birmingham Project Corporate Leadership, Class of 2011. He is a Trustee of the Birmingham Business Alliance.

Bowsher is an elected member of the Board of Governors of the Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA), the national organization of Republican attorneys, and he serves as the organization's Vice President for Judicial Affairs. He also sits on the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama Roundtable.
