In an October 16 presentation at the South Carolina Probate Judges Fall Conference, Jack Pringle discussed how pressures of the judicial system, the legal system and the broader economy, combined with the emergence of new computer technologies, growing caseloads and budget constraints force changes in the way lawyers work, managing change and mental health has become critical.

Jack's presentation, "Check Your Head: Practical Tools for Creating Space and Building Resilience," offered perspective on some of the reasons lawyers' work often makes them more susceptible to isolation and destructive behaviors, arguing a healthy mind is a crucial tool for anyone navigating change and uncertainty. Jack also offered some practical strategies for surviving — and hopefully thriving — in an uncertain world.
