Gaudet Leads First Meeting as Chair of Newly Formed New Orleans Bar Association Class Actions and Complex Litigation Committee

Adams and Reese attorney Billy Gaudet led the first meeting of the New Orleans Bar Association Class Actions and Complex Litigation Committee on Thursday, May 22nd at the NOBA office. The committee was formed this year and now has more than 100 members.

The committee held a conversation on recent developments in the law and discussed upcoming programs and CLEs.

At Adams and Reese, Gaudet leads the complex/class action practice across all offices and often acts as an advisor or mentor on litigation and strategic issues to other lawyers in the firm. Starting his career in maritime law on behalf of the oil and gas industry, Gaudet now has a diverse complex/class action litigation practice that includes consumer fraud claims, securities, health care, environmental claims, federal discrimination claims, ERISA, commercial disputes, civil RICO and fiduciary breaches.

Gaudet is listed in Louisiana Super Lawyers® - Business Litigation.

Gaudet has been a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and currently serves as one of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group Leaders.
