St. Petersburg attorney Jim Dickson delivered a presentation at the Public Service Fellows and Phi Alpha Delta Annual Pro Bono Panel and Networking Dinner, October 10 at Stetson University College of Law.

Jim shared an inspiring presentation about why attorneys should get involved with pro bono work and using their skills to represent those in need of legal assistance in the community. He noted the principles of the Oath of Admission to The Florida Bar and the role of lawyers as guardians of the rule of law, that lawyers can and must protect all members of our society, especially the most vulnerable.

Jim also discussed the Community Law Program's work to serve more than 3,500 residents of the community in 2017 with limited resources, and how the organization works to serve Pinellas County residents with their legal needs.
