Nashville Music Row Partner Linda Edell Howard, who also serves as Adams and Reese Entertainment and New Media Team Leader, recently shared her No. 1 professional “hit” with Nashville Business Journal. Howard was recently named among NBJ’s 2016 Women in Music City Honorees. Talking with NBJ, Howard said: “My greatest hit is “That’ll Be The Day” by Buddy Holly because I was able to get one of the original authors added to the original registration with the copyright office when I was told for years it couldn’t be done because it was too late, and I had Paul McCartney’s assistance in doing so.” Howard will be honored alongside 29 fellow Women in Music City Honorees at an awards dinner Sept. 27th in Nashville.
