Adams and Reese attorney Stephanie Martin, associate in the firm’s Tampa office, was recognized for her pro bono work in 2013 with a lapel pin from the Supreme Court of Florida, the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar and The Florida Pro Bono Coordinators Association.

Practicing law since 2006, Martin has a strong background in commercial and business litigation, financial services litigation, and real estate litigation. Martin is a board-certified attorney in real estate law by The Florida Bar.

Martin is also very committed to performing pro bono work in order to aid those individuals who would not otherwise be able to afford legal counsel. Since 2010, Martin has provided more than 250 hours of pro bono work to those in need. She is a member of The Florida Bar Appellate Practice Section’s Pro Bono Committee, and, as a member of this committee, has accepted at least one appellate pro bono case per year. Additionally, Martin has handled various domestic violence cases in the Tampa Bay area.

Martin has been recognized for her pro bono contributions by the Supreme Court of Florida, the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, the Florida Pro Bono Coordinators Association, the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida in Tampa, and the domestic violence pro bono organization, Are You Safe. In 2012, Martin was also honored by Adams and Reese with the Tampa office’s HUGS award in recognition for her community service and pro bono work.
