Nashville Partner and Government Relations Team Leader Brad Lampley is helping current University of Tennessee Volunteer football players navigate the job market and life after college. A former Volunteer offensive lineman, Lampley recently participated in the team’s VFL Career Night, an annual networking event that connects rising juniors and seniors with former players and others in the business world to help kick-start student-athletes’ professional careers.

“One of the best business educations you get is playing football,” Lampley told UTSports.com in an interview. “Most of the people you’re competing with on the job market don’t have that skillset that football builds in terms of overcoming adversity, working under pressure and deadlines, working within a team and being able to handle a demanding boss. There are so many lessons that I fall back on every single day.”
