Adams and Reese Special Counsel Mark Norris was interviewed by Fox13 on the appointment and swearing-in of Holly Kirby to the Tennessee Supreme Court.
Norris said, “She's written over 1,000 very reasoned opinions. I might say as an attorney, I've been able to argue cases before her at the court of appeals level. No sharper justice do we have, and of course the first University of Memphis to serve on the Tennessee Supreme Court.”
Justice Kirby now joins her four other colleagues on the bench, including the new Chief Justice Sharon Lee. Justice Kirby replaces Memphian Janice Holder, who retired from the court last year. Gov. Haslam has now appointed 28 judges statewide during his first four years in office.
