Paul Carrubba, a member of the Banking and Finance Team of Adams and Reese, is one of three instructors conducting “Remote Deposit Capture—Strategic Issues and Challenges.” This seminar, sponsored by the Bank Administration Institute (BAI), will be offered four times this spring across the country in Chicago (March 9-10, Atlanta (March 23-24), San Diego San Diego (April 10-11) and Philadelphia (April 27-28).
This seminar is a comprehensive presentation of issues and opportunities financial institutions face when evaluating and implementing remote deposit capture solutions. As an instructor, Mr. Carrubba will focus on the legal issues surrounding remote deposit capture, and discuss strategic and tactical implications while provide practical solutions for financial institutions. Through seminars such as this one, as well as presentations and conferences, BAI reaches thousands of financial services professionals each year to deliver content designed around critical business needs and to facilitate vital connections between financial services professionals, industry experts and solutions providers.
Mr. Carrubba has extensive experience with the legal and managerial aspects of the banking industry. He has also taught courses for the Bank Administration Institute on Principals of Banking, Demand Deposits, Savings Deposits, Trust Services, and Money and Banking. He frequently conducts training seminars on numerous banking topics. He is a member of the faculty of the Alabama School of Banking and the BAI’s Graduate School of Bank Operations and Technology and formerly taught at the Mississippi School of Banking.
Mr. Carrubba received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from Mississippi College School of Law in 1979, and in 1972, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi.
