Sweatman has nearly 15 years of experience working in governmental affairs in the Columbia area and has worked closely with contacts within the South Carolina General Assembly, Governor’s office and state agencies to advance clients’ legislative agendas.

From 2011–2018, Sweatman served as the Director of Government Relations for the South Carolina Retail Association, based in Columbia.
