Tampa attorneys, Eric Partlow and Chris Roach were recognized Sept. 29th, 2016 for their dedicated pro bono service with Are You Safe at its 8th Annual Purple Party held in Tampa. Are You Safe, a Tampa nonprofit, provides legal and social services to victims of domestic violence and promotes awareness and education within the local community, legal community and law enforcement agencies.
Partlow and Roach worked with Are You Safe over the past year to provide pro bono legal services to victims of domestic violence and help them through the legal process. All three attorneys have previously been honored by the organization for their pro bono work, with Roach recognized in 2012 as its Volunteer of the Year.
Are You Safe’s annual Purple Party helps raise awareness for the issue of domestic violence; honor the organization’s volunteers, sponsors and donors; and raise funds for continued efforts in advocating, educating, and empowering domestic violence victims.
