As an attorney, it’s critical for me to understand a client’s business operations from the financials to management and marketing, as well as information technology concerns. I am passionate about using my business and legal knowledge to make legal decisions that best help my clients carry out their business functions and catalyze business growth and development.  

Kevin McKendry is an Associate in the Adams and Reese Jacksonville office practicing primarily in financial services, advising clients including banks, floor-plan lenders, and other entities in Florida and across the Southeast.

He provides counsel regarding commercial litigation, operational and regulatory issues including establishing new lines of business. He represents banks in commercial collection, bankruptcy and foreclosure, and defending banks in commercial and other disputes.

Kevin was a judicial intern for the Hon. George Pagano at Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, where he authored opinions and proctored hearings and trials in the criminal division.

Kevin received his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where he served as a research assistant for Professor Josephine Nelson, contributing to a book on business ethics for the Oxford Press.

Kevin earned an M.B.A. from Villanova University School of Business. He has financial services industry experience, serving as an automated solutions intern for Bank of North Carolina, where he worked in inventory tracking documentation, including the branch information technology assets.

Achieving a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, Kevin was a finalist for the James E. Pizzani Award, given to an athlete who excels athletically, academically and philanthropically. Kevin was a captain of the varsity lacrosse team and a three-time member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Honor Roll and All-Academic Team.

In the community, Kevin mentored at the Poughkeepsie Children’s Home, taught children at the Highland Youth Lacrosse Clinic and helped the Marist Men’s Lacrosse team win the Red Fox Challenge, awarded to a sports team with the most community service hours. He also earned an individual award for the most community service among any athlete at Marist College.
