My passion focuses on two areas of life most people avoid: death and taxes. Through my estate planning and probate practice, I love getting to know my clients, their families, and their life goals, to create a holistic plan for themselves and future generations.

Madalyn Davis is an Associate in the Adams and Reese Atlanta office, focusing her practice on estate planning and probate matters.

Having worked with clients from all walks of life, including blended families, life partners, traditional families, elderly clients, and single professionals, Madalyn understands the unique needs for every situation. Madalyn’s area of law allows her to have a more intimate relationship with her clients, sharing with them a sense of pride when they sign their final documents.

As tax laws change, new legislation revises the exemptions and gifting laws, and economic fluctuations create uncharted territories, Madalyn works with her clients to make sure they have the best plan for where they are and where they hope to be.

Probate does not need to be overly complicated, but understanding the process takes experience. Whether a loss is expected or sudden, probate can be overwhelming. Losing a loved one is difficult enough, and Madalyn can help clients find peace through the probate process without the added stress of wading through the legal concerns.

Madalyn works with families during some of the most stressful times of their lives. She loves knowing she can help ease the burden on her clients and allowing them to focus on their family while she takes care of the procedural aspects.

Madalyn has worked exclusively as an estate planning and probate attorney for the last six years. For the first two years of her practice, she served as Assistant District Attorney in the Newton County District Attorney’s Office in Covington, Georgia, and as a Special Assistant District Attorney in DeKalb, Georgia.

In the community, Madalyn is a Board Member of the Mortmain, a newsletter that publishes legal articles on estate planning matters, is a volunteer at the DeKalb County Probate Clinic, and volunteers at her church, North Gwinnett Church.
