Adams and Reese Partner Jeff Richardson celebrates a 15-year anniversary of his creation, iPhoneJD.com, launched in 2008 and the oldest and largest website for attorneys who use iPhones and iPads.
With tens of thousands of readers, Richardson is well known for sharing his knowledge on iPhones, iPads, and related tech devices with attorneys around the country and the world. Richardson’s blog is frequently named among the best legal technology websites and is a member of the ABA Journal's Blawg Hall of Fame.
The iPhone has become an integral part of Richardson’s law practice, and it is also a device, he says, that he enjoys using for entertainment when he is not working.
“The focus of this website is how attorneys can use Apple’s mobile devices, including the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch,” said Richardson. “However, many of my posts are relevant to anyone who uses an iPhone or iPad to get work done, and I know that lots of non-lawyers are regular readers.”
Richardson practices in the New Orleans office of Adams and Reese, where he represents clients in litigation, including class actions, complex litigation, and appellate litigation. Richardson is an Appellate Practice Specialist, certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization, and he is one of only 14 attorneys in Louisiana with that certification. A member of the Product Liability Advisory Council, he also defends clients in high-stakes product liability litigation.
