Adams and Reese Partner and Construction Team Co-Leader David Toney has been selected among Thomson Reuters’ 2023 “Texas Super Lawyers” in Construction Law.
Each year, less than five percent of attorneys in Texas are named to the list. Selection is based off peer nominations that are then reviewed by Thomson Reuters research, and each nominee is evaluated on professional accomplishments, peer recognition, and community involvement.
Toney is a Partner in the Adams and Reese Houston office, member of the Executive Committee, and co-leader of the Construction Practice. Toney is the former President of the Houston Bar Association’s Construction Law Section.
Toney advises clients in construction disputes, commercial litigation, products liability and personal injury defense. His broad experience in business and commercial litigation, as well as construction and real estate litigation, includes complex, multi-party commercial and residential construction disputes concerning construction and design defects, product failure, warranty claims and allegations of fraud. He has served as national counsel and regional counsel for several manufacturers, managing lawyers and cases throughout the United States, and he has handled cases alleging damages in excess of $1 billion.
