  • Billing Specialist (New Orleans, LA)

    Adams & Reese is currently seeking a full time Billing Specialist.  This position is responsible for managing and processing client bills with the attorneys and their staff utilizing the Firm’s billing platforms and facilitating electronic billing submissions.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Coordinate with attorneys, staff and clients to generate, distribute, edit, and finalize legal bills through various billing formats, including a paperless prebill software system.
    • Facilitate resolution of e-billing issues.
    • Prepare reports and materials necessary to track billings.
    • Maintain master client files in the Elite Legal Billing system.
    • Perform additional billing duties as assigned by the Billing Manager or Regional Office Manager.

  • Collections Specialist (New Orleans, LA)

    Adams & Reese is currently seeking a full time Collections Specialist.  This position is responsible for calling delinquent accounts while maintaining the history within the ARCS System.  The Collections Specialist is also responsible for providing both the attorney and client with any copies of posted bills.  This position will also serve as backup support to the Accounts Receivable clerk for Cash Receipts and Reminder Statements.  Required weekly meeting with the supervisor to recap collection efforts made during that period.

  • Desktop Support Specialist (Columbia, SC)

    Adams & Reese is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist in our Columbia, South Carolina office, to provide support to local and remote users and maintain equipment used to provide services.   Responsibilities include:  Provide phone, remote access, and desktop support of Intel based hardware and software systems; track assigned tasks throughout problem solving life cycle using the firm’s Service Desk ticketing system; maintain accurate and timely service ticket; perform basic printer services; deploy PC hardware and software; assist in new hire computer setup, configuration and authentication and serve as communications focal point between users and second level engineers. Required to assist during office build outs and office relocations and spend regular travel to Charleston, SC, Tallahassee, FL and Jacksonville, FL offices.  Requirements include a background in support of windows-based software applications and operating systems including MS Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 2016/O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Teams) and antivirus products. Minimum 5 years of helpdesk experience required.  A+, MCP, or other full industry certification a plus.  A+ and Network Essentials certification is preferred within one year of employment.  Other desirable experiences: Knowledge of legal specific and large firm applications such as iManage, Dragon Legal Dictation, Azure Virtual Desktop, EverLaw, and Litera desktop are a plus.

    Adams & Reese is seeking an AI & Knowledge Manager to serve as the firm's subject matter expert in legal artificial intelligence, knowledge management, and legal research. This position partners closely with attorneys, practice groups, and technology to develop AI enabled workflows, improve legal service delivery, and identify opportunities to leverage data and emerging technologies throughout the firm.

    The successful candidate will be a technology forward, non-practicing attorney or experienced paralegal who is enthusiastic about artificial intelligence, legal innovation, and continuous learning. This individual will combine legal expertise with strong technical aptitude to help attorneys integrate AI into their daily practice while maintaining the firm's commitment to quality, ethics, and client service.  Responsibilities include: Design, develop, and optimize Harvey workflows that improve attorney productivity across litigation, transactional, labor & employment, bankruptcy, real estate, intellectual property, corporate, and other practice areas; Build reusable AI workflows for legal drafting, contract review, due diligence, legal research, summarization, deposition preparation, document analysis, client communications, and litigation strategy; Perform sophisticated legal and business research utilizing Harvey AI, Westlaw Precision, Practical Law, Bloomberg Law, PACER, and other legal research platforms; Train attorneys and staff on modern legal research techniques that combine traditional research with AI-assisted workflows; Develop and manage the firm's CLE program with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence, legal technology, and innovation; Design attorney training programs focused on Harvey AI, legal research, knowledge management, and emerging technologies; and Coordinate accredited CLE programs across all areas in which the firm practices. Prior law firm experience is desired.
