Adams & Reese attorneys have facilitated the opening and expansion of numerous charter schools across our footprint by guiding operators through the application process, advising on operational issues, assisting with the financing of the acquisition, and equipping school facilities through tax-exempt and/or taxable bonds.

We routinely help schools comply with their desegregation obligations and represent school districts in obtaining unitary status, often in matters involving significant discovery, expert testimony, and federal court appearances.
