Adams and Reese Partner Matt Hill and Business Development Manager Jeff Manning, both in the firm’s Columbia office, have been named to the Leadership Columbia Alumni Association 2014-2015 Advisory Board, a program created and managed by the Columbia Chamber to provide the 1,700-plus graduates of Leadership Columbia opportunities to fulfill their commitment to the community, while enhancing their leadership skills.
As graduates of the Leadership Columbia program, these select members will serve the board for a 12-month term.
At Adams and Reese, Hill practices in real estate and banking law. Committed to investing personal time in the community, Hill is a past president of the Columbia Kiwanis Club, where he currently serves on the board. Hill also serves on the board of the South Carolina Wildlife Federation.
Hill is a past recipient of the Richland County Bar Association’s Civic Star Award which is given in recognition of exceptional and meritorious public service to the community for activities outside the practice of law. Hill is a 2004 alumnus of Leadership Columbia.
At Adams and Reese, Manning serves as the BDM of the firm’s Columbia office. He is the former Marketing Director and also the Marketing Coordinator for Continuing Legal Education for the South Carolina Bar. Manning currently serves as the Marketing Committee Chair for the Association of Continuing Legal Educators, and he is a member of Leadership Columbia Class of 2014.
In the Columbia community, he is a member of South Carolina Society of Association Executives, Young Professional Society of Columbia, Historic Columbia Foundation and Columbia Museum of Art Contemporaries.
