In its 18th year of partnering with the Louisiana State Bar Association and Louisiana Bar Foundation’s Community Action Committee, Adams and Reese has provided 60 children and teens with Christmas gifts for the holiday season.

These children and teens, from carefully screened programs with the help of the State Bar, are among New Orleans’ most disadvantaged, and even the smallest gift has a great impact for them for the holiday season.

Adams and Reese, through its HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving and Support) program, adopted 60 children for the program this year. Adams and Reese New Orleans office attorney Katherine Brownlee helped organize this year’s drive. New Orleans employees collected and donated presents for the children, and the firm had a “Wrapping Party” on December 2nd before sending them to the State Bar.

The Adams and Reese employee volunteer program, HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving, and Support), has devoted financial resources and thousands of volunteer hours to more than 200 community service organizations nationwide.
