During the month of September, the Adams and Reese Baton Rouge Office raised $1,433 to put towards wish list items for the St. Jude Baton Rouge Affiliate Clinic in honor of Reagan Angers, daughter of Jeff Angers, a friend of the firm. Wish list items included a DVD player and movies, Xbox 360 and games, laminating machine and toys and crafts.
The St. Jude Baton Rouge Affiliate Clinic is located in the Medical Plaza next to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. The program’s mission is to extend care and benefits to more children; increase the number of children on St. Jude protocols; and to provide clinical, academic and financial support to affiliates. The Affiliate Program is a network of pediatric hematology-oncology clinics, hospitals and universities united to extend the mission of St. Jude. The physicians and staff at these sites work in collaboration with the staff of St. Jude to deliver protocol-related care to pediatric hematology and oncology patients.
The Adams and Reese employee volunteer program, HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving, and Support), was founded in 1988 and has since devoted financial resources and thousands of volunteer hours to offer assistance to those in need. Every year throughout Adams and Reese’s regional footprint, employees donate time, money and supplies to more than 200 community organizations in need.
