The Adams and Reese Tallahassee Office held a food drive through the months of April and May and delivered 60 pounds of food and $235 in donations on May 10th to the Second Harvest of the Big Bend.

America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend distributes over 5.5 million pounds of food every year, equaling 4.5 million meals, for those in need. The food bank partners with over 135 non-profit and faith based organizations who serve individuals, families, children and other low-income persons with special needs.

Every month in the Big Bend, more than 33,000 people are given our food, one-third of whom are children, and 11 percent are seniors.

The Second Harvest of the Big Bend is a member of the Adams and Reese employee volunteer program, HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving, and Support), which was founded in 1988 and has since devoted financial resources and thousands of volunteer hours to offer assistance to those in need. Every year throughout Adams and Reese’s regional footprint, employees donate time, money and supplies to more than 200 community organizations in need.
