Jackson attorney Austin Stewart has been elected secretary of the Madison County Business League & Foundation's (MCBL&F) Madison County Young Professionals (MCYP) Steering Committee.

In this role, Austin will participate in forward-looking initiatives that aim to spur economic planning, growth and development involving young professionals from all industries across Madison County. The group works to reach its 200-plus members, ages 39 and younger, who work with businesses that are members of the MCBL&F.

MCBL&F provides young professionals and entrepreneurs with the opportunity to build relationships, serve the community and engage with business, political and civil leaders.

The Madison County Business League & Foundation was created in 2008 by the Madison County Economic Development Authority (MCEDA) and the Madison County Board of Supervisors to promote economic planning and development.
