Adams and Reese is pleased to announce B. Jeffrey Brooks, a Partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, has been re-elected to serve a fourth term as Chair of Adams and Reese’s Executive Committee, effective January 1, 2019.
The firm’s Executive Committee is the management body of the firm that oversees the strategic operations of the firm as well as its attorneys, advisors and professional staff, and consists of six Partners, each elected by their fellow Partners to serve a three-year term. Members of the firm’s Executive Committee and management are located throughout the firm’s regional footprint.
“I truly enjoy serving the professionals of Adams and Reese as Executive Committee Chair,” said Brooks. “I am grateful to my fellow Partners for the continued opportunity to work closely with the firm’s attorneys, advisors and staff as we continue to focus on our clients and build on our successes into 2019.”
After serving as Chief Counsel and Director of Special Projects for Congressman Richard H. Baker, Brooks joined Adams and Reese in 1997, establishing an office for Adams and Reese in Washington, D.C. and adding several lawyers and lobbyists to build a substantive legislative practice. Brooks serves clients primarily in matters of transportation, appropriations, public works, education, stimulus, energy and the environment when representing their interests on Capitol Hill.
