Adams and Reese Columbia office attorneys participated in the Lawyers 4 Vets program sponsored by South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center on Thursday, April 16, at the Dorn VA Medical Center. 

Columbia office attorneys Kirby Shealy, Cliff Moore, Dawn Hardesty, and Lyndey Zwing participated in assisting over 20 military veterans, providing assistance and counseling with respect to child support modifications, consumer protection, criminal records expungement and pardons. The attorneys also assisted with drafting wills.

The Adams and Reese pro bono attorney policy, through the firm's CA&RE (Caring Adams and Reese Attorneys) program, requires that every lawyer in the firm annually perform a minimum of 20 hours of pro bono work. In the last two years combined, Adams and Reese attorneys have performed a total of 12,000 pro bono hours and the firm was ranked No. 142 in American Lawyer rankings of the Top 200 pro bono firms in the country.
