Trent CotneyAdams and Reese Partner and Construction Team Co-Leader Trent Cotney was a special guest for a RoofersCoffeeShop webinar on “Scaling Up with BI: Business Strategies for Roofing Companies,” held Aug. 30.

Cotney was joined by Eugene Zukowski of Jobba and John Kenney of Cotney Consulting Group as they were interviewed by Heidi Ellsworth, discussing customer service, estimating, service, safety, regulations, legal issues, and how business intelligence (BI) can help owners understand their success or discover where they need to improve by using these critical core disciplines. The guests also discussed how to incorporate BI with important business functions in order to build a strong service and maintenance program for overall company success. 

A Partner in the Adams and Reese Tampa office, Cotney is a board-certified construction lawyer licensed in eight states and Washington, D.C. In construction litigation and arbitration, he represents construction and infrastructure clients, including general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, architects, engineers, roofers, developers, and other professionals. He is an EU arbitrator for construction-related disputes. 

Cotney focuses his practice on all aspects of construction litigation and arbitration, including OSHA defense, lien law, bond law, bid protests, and construction document review and drafting.
