Brian F. Hansen has joined the firm’s Global Trade, Transportation and Logistics practice and Atlanta office as a Partner.

Hansen brings a variety of legal experience to his work representing logistics, transportation and poultry companies in litigation throughout the Southeast in the defense of trucking accidents, wrongful death and premises liability claims that involve catastrophic injuries and in responding to highly sensitive investigations and allegations from government agencies.

“Brian is a dynamic lawyer and shares our commitment to providing logistics and transportation companies with exceptional service,” said Christopher J. Kane, a Partner who leads Adams and Reese’s Global Trade, Transportation and Logistics Team. “Our clients will benefit from Brian’s strengths as a litigator and an experienced counselor who truly gets to know clients’ businesses on a deeper level.”

Hansen also focuses a considerable amount of his practice on construction law. He represents contractors, owners and design professionals on construction projects on a national basis. He has successfully prosecuted claims through litigation and alternative dispute resolution in numerous federal and state courts as well as various ADR forums.

“Adams and Reese is well respected for its strengths in litigation,” said Hansen. “I am excited to join a formidable team that helps so many types of businesses in our region, as well as offering my clients a wide range of services to help them address business challenges.”

In addition to his transportation and logistics experience, Hansen has a keen understanding of issues facing secured creditors and banks and serves a wide range of regional, national and international financial services providers and industry players.

Hansen received his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in 1995, and his B.A., with honors, from the University of Tennessee in 1990.
