The Adams and Reese Jackson office held a dress down jeans day through the Firm’s HUGS program before Memorial Day weekend to raise enough money to purchase 100 bus tickets to distribute to homeless veterans in need of travel to the VA Medical Center in Jackson for their treatments.

The Jackson office employees presented the check to Embra Jackson, Chief of Volunteer Services with the VA Medical Center in Jackson. Adams and Reese employees involved in the project included Partner in Charge Phil Buffington, Regional Office Manager Vickie Neely, Kelly Tuttle, Kelly Hatter and Lu Poole.

The VA Medical Center in Jackson is one of more than 200 community organizations helped by the Adams and Reese employee volunteer program, HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving, and Support). Founded in 1988, HUGS, for more than 25 years, has devoted financial resources and thousands of volunteer hours to offer assistance to those in need throughout the Firm’s regional footprint in seven states and 16 offices in the southeast United States and Washington, DC.
