The law firm of Adams and Reese is pleased to announce that litigator Clarence A. Wilbon has joined as a Partner in the Memphis office.
Wilbon represents clients in commercial and financial services litigation and product liability defense. Licensed to practice in Tennessee and Kentucky, he is ranked among Best Lawyers® (by BL Rankings, LLC) in Commercial Litigation and Banking and Finance Litigation.
Wilbon was the first African American Partner at his former firm, Bass Berry & Sims, where he spent 11 years (2003-2014). He was also formerly an attorney with Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs (2000-2003).
“For close to 15 years Clarence has held a successful and broad-based litigation practice in Memphis, and we are excited to add an attorney of his caliber to our office,” said Adams and Reese Memphis Partner in Charge Jay Campbell.
Wilbon represents financial institutions and major companies in state and federal court cases, as well as pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in various state and federal court product liability actions.

Wilbon is a graduate of both, the Tennessee Bar Association Law Leadership, Class of 2008, and the Memphis Bar Association Leadership Forum, Class of 2006.
Wilbon received his J.D. from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, in 2000, and he earned his B.A., in 1996, from Arkansas State University.
