Adams and Reese is pleased to announce Mark Surprenant has been honored by St. Elizabeth’s Guild as a Hall of Fame Activist. Surprenant, a partner with Adams and Reese in New Orleans, was celebrated at St. Elizabeth’s Guild’s 48th Annual Volunteer Activists Awards Luncheon, Friday, September 28, 2018 in New Orleans.
Surprenant devotes a great deal of his time to no-cost legal services to those in need, and serves as Adams and Reese’s Pro Bono Paladin. He was honored in 1994 as a St. Elizabeth’s Guild Volunteer Activist. Surprenant’s dedication to volunteerism and community is reflected in his the programs he has created at Adams and Reese to further these interests. In 1988, he created H.U.G.S. (Hope, Understanding, Giving, Support)—the firm’s corporate philanthropy program—and in 2000, he established Caring Adams & Reese Employees (CA&RE), the firm’s official pro bono program.
St. Elizabeth’s Guild has and continues to support the many needs and the well-being of various children’s programs serviced by Catholic Charities New Orleans.
