Adams and Reese is pleased to announce that Patrick L. McCune has joined the Firm’s Baton Rouge office as an Associate. Practicing law since 2008, McCune engages in a broad legal practice involving complex commercial litigation and a variety of regulatory issues. In recent years, his work has included appellate litigation, bankruptcy, real estate, intellectual property, foreclosures, banking regulations, employment law, and constitutional law.

McCune is a member of the state bars of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida, and has appeared in courts in each of these states to represent the interests of his clients.

Prior to joining Adams and Reese, McCune served three years as an associate at Jones Walker, working primarily for regional and national banks; he also completed three judicial clerkships, serving each of the following individual judges for one year: Justice Jeffrey P. Victory of the Louisiana Supreme Court; Judge Tom E. Stagg of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana; and Judge Katharine M. Samson of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.

McCune graduated from a joint degree program at Louisiana State University A&M in 2008, simultaneously earning his J.D. from the LSU Law Center, with honors, and earning his Master of Business Administration from LSU’s business school. McCune earned his B.A. from Louisiana State University in 2003. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, he served as an intern in the leadership offices of the United States Congress and served as Student Body President of Louisiana State University A&M and Chair of Louisiana’s Council of Student Body Presidents.
