Managing IP has revealed its list of this year’s leading intellectual property practitioners in private practice across more than 50 jurisdictions, and we are pleased to announce Mitch Boult of Adams and Reese has been named to “IP Stars” for 2022. Managing IP’s research methodology involves months of analyzing firm submissions, practitioner surveys, client feedback, and publicly available information.
Managing IP published its first legal directory in 1994 and rebranded it in 2013 as IP Stars. The IP Stars guide has expanded over the years and now covers over six IP practice areas and more than 70 jurisdictions, making it the most comprehensive, leading specialist rankings publication for the IP profession.
Frequently honored for his national and international service to clients, Boult represents a wide range of clients in multi-jurisdictional IP litigation and serves as lead advisor on branding campaigns throughout Asia, Europe and North America. Drawing on years of experience helping companies extend their brands into new markets, he crafts practical and efficient strategies to navigate past the issues that arise and helps that expansion go smoothly.
With more than 9,000 trademarks under management, Boult and his team devise commercial and legal tactics to drive brand value, fortify brand strength and lower the cost of global trademark portfolios. Boult also represents clients embroiled in domain name disputes and in proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). In these matters, he’s known for using creative approaches and achieving improbable outcomes.
Boult is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) Emerging Issues Committee.
