The Adams and Reese New Orleans office held a HUGS: “Support Our Louisiana Troops” drive to send items to the men and women of the Louisiana Army National Guard’s 204th and 244th TAOG (Theater Airfield Operations Group) Aviation Units serving in the Middle East.
New Orleans employee Judy Prat organized the drive, and the project was a partnership with Lagniappe Ministries. Packaged items included Community Coffee, Zapp’s potato chips, Tobasco and crystal hot sauce, local jerky, pralines and Tony Chachere’s seasonings.
Lagniappe Ministries is a member of the Adams and Reese employee volunteer program, HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving, and Support), which was founded in 1988 and has since devoted financial resources and thousands of volunteer hours to offer assistance to those in need. Every year throughout Adams and Reese’s regional footprint, employees donate time, money and supplies to more than 200 community organizations in need.
