Adams and Reese attorney Patrick Dungan has been selected as a member of the Leadership Mobile Class of 2021. The Mobile United program seeks, trains, and empowers leaders who are committed to supporting and leading community growth and progress through networking and collaborative problem-solving.

As a member of the upcoming class of Leadership Mobile, Patrick will interface with emerging leaders from the Mobile area who represent a wide range of businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations.

The program begins with an opening retreat and program to help identify leadership styles and identify gaps in the community that could benefit from leadership. Then, class members will participate in a series of monthly seminars and will take on group projects to address leadership in a selected field for the betterment of the community. Finally, the program concludes with project presentations. Each member of the class will be encouraged to seek roles on community boards, commissions, key volunteer leadership positions, or public office if they have not already done so.

Practicing in the Adams and Reese Mobile office, Dungan has wide-ranging experience in government law, business litigation, general civil litigation, economic development, business transactions, education law, real property disputes, bond financing, premises liability, transportation, and tax matters. He has represented multiple municipalities, planning commissions, and utility boards and provided legal counsel to multiple Fortune 500 companies as well as many regional and local companies.

He provides day-to-day operational advice to municipal governments throughout south Alabama, and he works with clients to promote economic development and provide incentives for business development.

Dungan earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his B.A. from the University of South Alabama. While in law school, he served as Peer Review Editor on the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal.
