Susan Mack served as a panelist for "The Life Reinsurance Partnership — Is the Relationship Heading for a Breakup?" at the ARIAS-U.S. 2019 Fall Conference, October 3–4 in Brooklyn, New York.
In their panel discussion, Susan and her fellow speakers discussed how disputes in the reinsurance relationship in the life industry have typically been addressed through informal means and whether that could be changing. The panel reviewed the history of life reinsurance, discussed the nature and trends of current key disputes and forecasted how these disputes could affect life reinsurance relationships in the future. The panel also examined how ARIAS-U.S. can accommodate the evolving life reinsurance dispute landscape.
