Adams and Reese Partners Linda Edell Howard, Anne Russell and Gif Thornton have each been recognized as an “Attorney for Justice” and received a certificate of recognition from the Tennessee Supreme Court for performing more than 50 hours of pro bono service in Tennessee during the 2013 calendar year.

The attorneys for justice will appear on the Pro Bono Honor Roll on the Tennessee Supreme Court’s web site, tncourts.gov, and each of them received a certificate, bearing the Attorney for Justice seal, and signed by members of the Court.

The Tennessee Supreme Court will hold regional recognition events for all honored pro bono attorneys, taking place October 20 at Shelby County Courthouse in Memphis, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.; October 21 at Belmont College of Law in Nashville, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.; and October 22 at UT College of Law in Knoxville, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
