The Adams and Reese Education Law Team shared updates on legal issues in education at the 2019 Mississippi Association of School Superintendents' (MASS)/Alliance Summer Convention, July 7–12 at the Beau Rivage Casino and Convention Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. This is the largest attended educational conference in the state with more than 1,600 administrators and superintendents in attendance.

Jim Keith presented a general overview of legal updates in the world of education during the conference's opening session and during a session for athletic directors, and he joined KaShonda Day and paralegal Ann Box for a session providing legal updates on special education issues for special education directors.

Later in the conference, Elizabeth Maron, John Hooks, KaShonda Day, Adam Griffin and Jim Keith presented "Current Legal Issues," which addressed current legal issues facing school administrators in 2019, including a question-and-answer session to cover issues administrators are facing in their own districts.

Adams and Reese was also proud to serve as a sponsor for this event.
