Nashville
Adams & Reese Managing Partner Gif Thornton, Counsel and White-Collar Criminal Defense Team Leader Aubrey Harwell Jr., and Partner Will Cheek have been named to the Nashville Post’s In Charge 2026 list. This prestigious annual recognition honors the most influential business leaders driving Nashville's growth.

The In Charge 2026 list celebrates top business and executive leaders whose professional experience, civic leadership, and significant contributions are shaping Nashville’s future. Representing numerous sectors from Legal and Food/Hospitality to Politics and Technology, the list recognizes what the publication calls “the best of the best.” Honorees are selected through an independent editorial review led by Nashville Post, with final selections based on merit.

"We are proud that Gif, Aubrey, and Will have been recognized among Nashville's most influential leaders," said Clarence Wilbon, Litigation Partner and Chair of the Executive Committee at Adams & Reese. "Their inclusion on this distinguished list reflects not only their professional excellence but also their deep commitment to furthering Nashville’s business expansion and its vibrant community and culture."

Thornton, Harwell, and Cheek will be featured in the Nashville Post's "Leaders 2026" magazine and will also be celebrated at a corresponding event.
