Adam McNeil has more than 20 years of litigation and transactional law experience in logistics, construction, banking, real estate, and transportation. Adam has litigated complex commercial matters in federal courts, state courts, and before arbitration panels. He has extensive experience in business litigation, business torts, breach of lease, and remedies and defenses under Louisiana and Texas law. He also litigates admiralty (including vessel arrests), unfair trade practices, fraud, and professional liability matters.
Adam’s extensive litigation experience allows him to counsel clients on business issues, including purchase and construction agreements, lease negotiations, finance and security agreements, master service agreements, and complex business matters. His clients frequently seek guidance during contract negotiations to address issues that might otherwise result in litigation.
Adam also represents foreign and domestic owners, operators, and lenders in vessel finance transactions worldwide. He frequently prepares ship mortgages, purchase agreements, and vessel construction agreements. He is often called upon to provide advice on shipping and energy-related acquisitions and other marine-related finance projects. Adam’s practice also includes assisting logistics and transportation clients with federal regulatory compliance and operational issues.
