Erica P. Sensenbrenner

Erica Sensenbrenner has a diverse practice that focuses on commercial litigation, education law and policy, and board governance. Within her education practice, Erica advises charter schools across Louisiana, as well as local boards, regarding compliance with local, state and federal laws. Her litigation experience overlaps various areas, including commercial, medical malpractice, maritime, and labor and employment. 

A New Orleans native, Erica graduated from Louisiana State University in 2015 and Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2018. During her time at Loyola, Erica was Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola Law Review, an oralist and brief writer on the Loyola Environmental Law Moot Court team and a member of the Order of Barristers. As a member of the Loyola Law Review, Erica published two scholarly works and won the award for Best Casenote in 2018.

Prior to joining Adams and Reese, Erica served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Lance M. Africk of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Erica’s early experience advocating both as a writer and an oralist inspired her to pursue a career as a litigator. Erica’s firsthand political communications experience and work in the political sphere in Washington D.C. and Baton Rouge showed her the importance of client advocacy at all levels of government. Erica’s strong background in research, organization and strategy, developed through her work in our national and state capitals and in federal court, enables her to litigate successfully and passionately across a variety of forums.
