Adams and Reese Partner Tom White has been elected Board Chair of NextUp JAX, a Jacksonville Chamber organization for emerging business and community leaders.
NextUp JAX brings together Jacksonville’s emerging leaders to harness their talents and create initiatives that better the community. The program is facilitated as a regional effort to attract, retain, and engage Northeast Florida’s top talents. The Jacksonville Chamber, through its programs, initiatives, and events, represents more than 3,000 businesses serving Northeast Florida, assisting corporate and community members in making connections, growing their businesses, and prospering in the area.
At Adams and Reese, Tom is a Partner in the Litigation Practice Group, representing clients in commercial litigation and with respect to regulatory matters. He regularly works with clients in highly regulated industries, such as the alcoholic beverage industry. In litigation, he works with business owners and their management teams faced with complex business disputes. He is also experienced in insurance, commercial litigation, environmental, alcohol and hospitality, and unmanned aircraft systems.
Tom is ranked by clients and peers among the Best Lawyers and Jacksonville Magazine’s “Ones to Watch” in Commercial Litigation (2021-2024). Within the legal and professional industry, Tom is an active member of The Florida Bar, District of Columbia Bar, Jacksonville Bar Association, and Florida Association of Mitigation Bankers. Within the community, Tom is a board member of the Rotary Club of Riverside Jacksonville.
Tom received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2014, and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Auburn University in 2011.
