The Adams and Reese Nashville office, through a firm-wide “Back to School HUGS Initiative,” collected donations to purchase school supplies for KIPP Nashville Collegiate High School, a tuition-free, college preparatory, public charter high school serving academically underserved students in East and North Nashville. KIPP NCHS is in its second year of operations, and in total, Adams and Reese raised $1,000 to help support the school for the new school year.

KIPP NCHS’ mission is to build college-ready scholar with the character and academic skills necessary to succeed in college and in life, and collegiate students participate in a four-year college-readiness course that supports families and students to build college-going identities, habits and skills.

The Adams and Reese employee volunteer program, also known as HUGS (Hope, Understanding, Giving and Support), helps more than 200 organizations firm-wide and donates thousands of hours and untold dollars to offer communities “hands on” activities and assistance to those less fortunate. Whether in the form of special events or participation in agency-sponsored fundraisers, Adams and Reese employees and attorneys are known throughout the region and the nation for their community action.
