Lauren Tafaro recently joined other incoming classmates for the kickoff of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute's (NORLI) 2018–2019 program.

Lauren is one of 46 business, civic and community leaders throughout the 10-parish region who have been named to this year's class. Lauren will participate in NORLI's nine-month intensive training program for emerging and established community leaders.

The program officially begins in September, and participants will begin to explore such topics as public policy, education, economic development, diversity and equity, criminal justice, environment and sustainability and health care, among others affecting the region.

NORLI aims to promote regionalism and provide current and emerging leaders with a more thorough understanding of issues and an enhanced ability to collaborate for the greater good of the community. Visit the organization's website for more information.
