Lucian Pera spoke at the 19th Annual Legal Malpractice and Risk Management Conference. His panel discussion, "A Look into the Future of the Regulation of the Legal Profession," was highlighted in an article in Bloomberg Law.
Lucian discussed the role of business professionals in the practice of law and how that may change as the legal profession adapts to different types of demand, including meeting the legal needs of many Americans in poverty. Lucian also addressed regulatory reform efforts on the state level throughout the country and how law firms may compete more directly with or perhaps partner with technology providers and accounting firms in the future as the market continues to shift.
