Overview
Chris represents clients in complex disputes, drawing on a litigation background that includes casualty and insurance defense, premises liability, property damage, trucking fatalities, wrongful death, dram shop, UM/UIM, subrogation, appellate, and excess coverage monitoring matters. He brings clients practical insight and a results-oriented approach, helping them assess risk, prepare for litigation, pursue efficient resolutions, and go to trial in high-stakes disputes
Chris has successfully struck experts, drafted and argued motions for summary judgment, and negotiated settlements consistently below authority. He has also drafted and argued an appellate brief before the Fourteenth Court of Appeals of Texas and represented a client in a $50 million matter through all levels of pretrial preparation, while providing timely reporting on verdict exposure. Chris has gone to trial and secured substantial defense verdicts. He has extensive experience in deposing expert witnesses in areas including life care planning, neurology, orthopedics, cause and origin, propane engineering, standard of care, pathology, biomechanical engineering, financial planners, accountants, and accident reconstruction.
Chris’s practice is grounded in reliable case evaluation, clear communication, and strategic advocacy. Clients hire him because he combines courtroom readiness with a practical understanding of risk, leverage, and business outcomes. He believes that litigation and trial preparedness go hand in hand.
Chris is licensed to practice law in Texas and New York, is fluent in both English and Greek, and is also a certified mediator and Texas Notary Public. He earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he graduated in the top 15% of his class, received multiple academic and advocacy honors, and participated in the Mock Trial Team and ADR Team. He continues to teach and mentor future lawyers as a Legal Writing Instructor for the South Texas College of Law Houston bar examination program, where he supports students in legal writing and analysis and helps implement initiatives to improve bar passage results.
