Overview

Gabriel Segovia is a member of the Adams & Reese Litigation Practice Group in the firm’s Houston office. As a litigation attorney at Adams & Reese, Gabriel assists clients from individuals and small businesses to public Fortune 50 companies, as well as privately held and not-for-profit organizations in a wide range of disputes in Texas and nationally.

As a law clerk for Chief Justice Scott Brister of the Texas Fifteenth Court of Appeals, intern for Justice Ken Wise of the state’s Fourteenth Court of Appeals, and intern for Texas Supreme Court Justice Debra Lehrmann, Gabriel conducted research, drafted and edited opinions, and much more. The breadth of legal issues he tackled each day and the number of cases in which he was involved provided a deep dive into what the bench considers when reviewing a case. Gabriel also gained legal experience interning for various law firms.

Gabriel’s pre-legal experience in sales and project management, serving businesses in the oil and gas, aviation, construction, and manufacturing industries, has helped him recognize the importance of truly understanding each client’s objectives and challenges.

Gabriel’s law school honors include graduating magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of Lytae. While in law school he also served as a Texas Aggie Bar Association representative for the Aggie Law Student Association, a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board, the student representative for the school’s Free Speech Policy Committee, and as an articles editor of the South Texas Law Review. In college, Gabriel was a member of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M, where he served as the artillery officer for Parson’s Mounted Cavalry.
