Overview

Jonathan Davis advises clients on a broad spectrum of real estate and corporate matters. As a member of the Adams & Reese Real Estate and Forestry teams, Jonathan centers his practice on contract drafting, title review, and resolving title issues for complex land deals, with a particular emphasis on assisting with acquisitions, dispositions, and property management matters for clients in the forestry sector.

He assists with drafting various transactional documents, including purchase and sale agreements, deeds, easement agreements, and ancillary closing documents, ensuring that each is tailored to the specific challenges of the transaction. He also regularly collaborates with title insurance companies to ensure policy terms align with the unique needs of each transaction, and he has experience helping clients navigate the title insurance claim process when issues arise.

Jonathan earned his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he served as a legal research assistant for the Center for Profitable Agriculture and was a research editor for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Alabama with a B.S.B.A. in Business Management, where he was a recipient of the Dr. Paul Pietri Scholarship in Business Management. Jonathan founded the South Alabama Lacrosse Club.
