The practice of law is personal and I tailor representation to each individual client. I take pride in cultivating relationships and learning about my clients so I can best represent their interests throughout the litigation process.

Primary Practice:

Kaitlin Parham represents corporate clients in various areas of litigation, including insurance, labor and employment, and health care.

Before joining Adams and Reese, Kaitlin gained civil litigation experience at a firm where she represented health care facilities and providers in health care liability actions, as well as administrative licensure actions before various Tennessee Department of Health boards. Kaitlin also advised health care facilities on regulatory operational issues.

Kaitlin also previously served as a Senior Associate General Counsel with the Tennessee Department of Health where she represented the Department in administrative licensure actions and advised various health related boards. She drafted rules and regulations and appeared before the Tennessee Joint House and Senate Government Operations Committee. 

Additionally, Kaitlin formerly served as an Assistant General Counsel with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, representing the Department in all phases of dependency and neglect proceedings, including preliminary, adjudicatory, and dispositional hearings.

Kaitlin is an adjunct professor for her alma mater The University of Tennessee College of Law, teaching “Legislation and Regulation” to students in the College of Law’s Masters of Legal Studies degree program.

Kaitlin earned her J.D. in 2016 from University of Tennessee College of Law, where she was a member of the Animal Law Moot Court team and competed at Harvard Law School. She served as a student attorney in the College of Law’s Immigration Clinic and was an acting Assistant District Attorney under the supervision of a licensed ADA in the Child Abuse Unit, both pursuant to TSCR 7. While in law school, Kaitlin interned for the Office of the District Attorney General, 6th, 18th, and 20th Judicial Districts.

Prior to law school, Kaitlin earned her B.A. from Furman University, where she served as President of the Student Alumni Council.
