Taylor Brooks advises clients on corporate and transactional legal work, with a particular focus on public finance matters. She helps clients involved in complex financings, including local government projects, professional sports facilities, and multifamily housing developments. Taylor assists financial institutions, industrial development groups, nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and other governmental entities. She has served as bond counsel, issuer’s counsel, and underwriter’s counsel, using her keen eye for detail to manage the nuances across public finance transactions.
In Taylor’s diverse practice, she provides strategic transactional and contractual support to clients across multiple industries. She represents developers and owners in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of commercial real estate. She also assists with legal needs that arise in the operation of a business, regularly advising on commercial contracts and corporate governance. Additionally, Taylor works in the evolving world of litigation finance, providing creative solutions for clients to obtain and structure litigation funding deals.
Taylor is a 2020 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School. While in law school, she served as Senior Publication Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law. She was named to the Dean’s List and was a Dean’s Scholar.
