Adams and Reese has been named among 21 company finalists for Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2016 Corporate Philanthropy Awards. The firm, with offices in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota, is recognized in the Big Company category (51-100 employees). Adams and Reese will be honored alongside its fellow finalists at TBBJ’s 2016 Corporate Philanthropy Awards at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg Dec. 9.
TBBJ’s Corporate Philanthropy Awards Program is designed to spotlight the many corporate-sanctioned giving and volunteer programs that stand out in the Greater Tampa area community.
Founded in 1988, the Adams and Reese’s HUGS program (Hope, Understanding, Giving and Support) serves as the firm’s employee volunteer program. Through HUGS, attorneys and staff across the firm’s regional footprint donate time and financial resources to nearly 100 partner organizations in various philanthropic projects organized throughout the year. Attorneys also perform at least 20 hours of pro bono work annually as part of the CA&RE (Caring Adams and Reese Employees) pro bono initiative.
Adams and Reese has twice been a finalist in previous TBBJ Corporate Philanthropy Awards. In 2012, the firm received a No. 1 ranking in the Small Company category. The firm was also honored in 2013.
