Adams and Reese Columbia Associate Lyndey Ritz Zwing has been named to Columbia Business Monthly’s inaugural “Best & Brightest 35 and Under” list of promising young professionals across Columbia and the Midlands, South Carolina region. The award honors 35 young leaders under age 35 for their professional and community contributions. Zwing and her fellow honorees are profiled in the September 2016 issue of Columbia Business Monthly. Zwing will also be honored at the inaugural “Best & Brightest” awards gala this fall.
At Adams and Reese, Zwing is an attorney in the Litigation Practice Group, practicing in the firm’s Columbia office. She focuses her practice on a wide array of litigation issues, including jury trial and appellate representation in commercial disputes and estate litigation. In her experience, Zwing has handled probate and estate litigation, contract disputes, copyright and trademark infringement claims, insurance coverage matters, corporate governance cases and commercial defense cases.
In the community, Zwing has served for three years with the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar, participating on the Professional Development, Fifth Circuit, iCivics, South Carolina Bar Convention, and Community Law Week Committees. She is also an active member of the United Way of the Midland’s Young Leaders Society, serving on the organization’s Steering Committee. Through her alma mater, Furman University, Lyndey also serves on the Young Alumni Council and is a co-founder of the Columbia Chapter of the Furman University Young Alumni Group.
Zwing volunteers on a pro bono basis assisting the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General as a special prosecutor for criminal domestic violence matters, serving as pro bono counsel through the SC Bar’s Law Answers Program, and assisting the South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center’s Lawyers 4 Vets program.
This past June, Zwing was honored with the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer’s Division President’s Award in recognition of her exceptional dedication and service to YLD initiatives.
